Just a quick update to let you know that we’re back and working hard on reviving Louis B’s official site. We’re looking at doing a re-design, some back-end functionality upgrades and of course Louis’ own “Hollywood Gossip” blog to chat about the things he knows best about. William Shakespeare’s pastoral comedy As You Like It is a frothy meditation on love, betrayal and redemption.
Half the characters in the play are banished to the lush Arden Forest. The other half go in search of them so there’s a great deal of merry nonsense in that mini Garden of Eden.

What can I say?
I find Adam Sandler funny.
Well at least 80% of the time. There was that Little Nicky fiasco.
Sandler’s comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry is pure guilty pleasure.

I wanted to like Hairspray far more than I did.
That’s not to say I didn’t have a fun time, just that it isn’t nearly as outrageous and silly as the material cries out to be.
